Hike With a Ranger volunteers lead engaging, interpretive hikes on Copper Mountain’s scenic trails. Volunteers guide visitors through a high-alpine environment, sharing insights about local wildflowers, wildlife, history, geology, and more—all while taking in breathtaking mountain views. This is a family-friendly hike which offers participants a stroll on the start of the Hallelujah trail, taking in the world of the local pikas, marmots, and foxes as they frolic amongst the scree. Suitable for all skill levels to enjoy the fascinating ecosystem of this alpine environment, the hike is 0.5 miles with a total elevation gain of 50ft.
